Quick Start Guide
Welcome to AllOfYou — a personal growth app grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. AllOfYou gives you a private, supportive space to explore the different parts of yourself, deepen your self-understanding, and foster inner harmony over time.
What is AllOfYou?
AllOfYou is built on the IFS model, which recognises that we all have many inner "parts" — each with its own perspective, feelings, and needs. The app helps you identify those parts, have meaningful conversations with them, and build a compassionate relationship with your inner world. It is a self-development tool, not a clinical service.
Your First Time In
When you sign in for the first time, you may first be asked to confirm that you are 18 or over and to accept the terms of use on the Account Access Confirmation screen. Once confirmed, you are taken through an onboarding flow that asks you to name your first parts and set a baseline mood — a gentle way to start before you have done any sessions. Once you complete onboarding you land on the Dashboard and can begin exploring at your own pace.
Main Navigation
- Home — your dashboard: recent activity, quick actions, and at-a-glance patterns
- Parts — create and manage the parts of yourself you are working with
- Sit — start a new session immediately
- Pages — a free-writing journal space with gentle AI support
- Noticings — visualised mood and part patterns from your sessions over the past two weeks
- Me — your profile, your inner cast, and sign-out
Getting Started in 4 Steps
- Complete onboarding — follow the prompts on your first login to name your first parts and set a baseline mood
- Create your first part — go to Parts and add a part you are already aware of (for example, your inner critic or a part that feels anxious)
- Run a check-in — tap Check-in from the dashboard to record your current inner state in under two minutes
- Start your first session — tap Sit in the bottom navigation to begin a guided dialogue with one of your parts
The first time you start a sitting (or save an AI-assisted journal entry), a consent screen appears explaining what the AI companion is, that it isn't therapy, and which providers process your words. Accept it to begin — your acknowledgement is remembered, and the screen reappears only if you later withdraw AI consent in Settings and then use an AI feature, so you can choose again. If you are not ready, you can step back instead: in a sitting that returns you to your space, and in the journal you can save without AI. See Running a Session for the details.
You don't need any prior knowledge of IFS to begin. The app introduces concepts gradually as you explore.
