Sharing Your Practice

Sharing Your Practice

The share your practice feature (found under Settings → what stays private) lets you give a therapist or coach a quiet, read-only view of your practice over time — which parts have been present month by month, and the reflections you chose to keep.

What a practice-share link shows

When a recipient opens the link, they see:

  • Which parts have been present, month by month, across the last six months. A part counts as present in a month if you sat with it directly (a focused sitting) or spoke in its voice during any session that month.
  • Reflections and noticings from up to eight of your most recent sittings — the written summaries and moments you chose to keep from those sits.

What it never shows

  • The conversation itself. No transcripts — not from any sitting, ever. The link is a picture of the shape of the work, not a record of what was said.

How to create and manage links

Open Settings and tap share your practice under what stays private. From there you can:

  • Create a link — the link is live the moment it is created; sending it to someone is the consent act. Links expire automatically after 30 days.
  • Copy a link — tap the copy button to put the URL on your clipboard, then send it directly by message, email, or however you prefer.
  • Revoke a link — tap revoke next to any link. It stops working immediately, with no delay. The recipient sees a calm note that the link is no longer available.

You can have up to three active practice-share links at a time. To make a new one when you are at the limit, revoke an existing link first.

How this differs from a shared sitting

Shared sittings cover one session — the reflection and noticings from a single sitting, expiring after 30 days, with a ceiling of five active links per session. A practice-share link covers the whole arc — six months of part presence and reflections from several recent sits. They are complementary: share a single sitting when you want to show what came up in one session; share your practice when you want to show the territory you have been working in.

A note for recipients

You do not need an All of You account to view a practice-share link. The page opens in any browser. If it shows "this link isn't available," the person who created it has either revoked it or it has expired — ask them to send a fresh one.
