Account Access Confirmation
Account Access Confirmation
After signing in, All of You may ask you to confirm two things before continuing to the app:
- I am 18 or over. The app is for adults only (see How old do I need to be?).
- I accept the terms of use. Links to the terms of use and privacy notice are shown on the same screen.
Tick both boxes and tap Confirm and continue. The confirmation is saved to your account and will not be asked again unless the terms are updated.
If you are not ready — "Not now"
Tap Not now to leave the form without saving anything. The screen displays a short message: "No acknowledgement has been saved. You can use the account options below or return when you are ready." Your account and all your data remain intact — declining does not delete anything. The confirmation screen will reappear the next time you navigate to any part of the app while still signed in.
What you can do without confirming
The options listed below the form are available without ticking either box:
- Export my data — download everything you have written, regardless of membership status
- Sign out — sign out on this device
- Sign out everywhere — revoke your session on every device
- Withdraw AI consent — stop the AI facilitator from processing your content across both All of You and Shadow Work Guide; your saved work is not deleted
- Safety and support — the safety page remains open at all times
- Account and billing support — contact hello@allofyou.co.uk
Requesting account deletion from this page
If you want to close your account without first confirming the terms, expand the Request account deletion section at the bottom of the screen. To confirm, type the phrase delete my account and tap Request deletion. A private receipt link is shown after submission — keep it to check the status of the request.
Requesting deletion is separate from declining the terms. You can export your data first using the link above.
Note on confirmation phrases: the deletion available inside Settings → what stays private uses a different phrase — delete everything — to reduce the chance of accidental submission. Both submit the same deletion request, covering your All of You and Shadow Work Guide data. The phrase used here ("delete my account") and the phrase used in Settings ("delete everything") each enforce a deliberate typed confirmation in the relevant context.
